Nick Lebrun

Nick Lebrun

I was born on November 3, 1984 and I have had a love of fishing for as long as I can remember. There is nothing better than the being out on the water with friends while you are tracking down those elusive Bass.

As I grew up here in Vivian, Louisiana, I continued to develope my angling skills on the local waters. My favorite lakes are: Caddo Lake, Lake Fork
Lake O' th Pines and Lake Welsh.

For several years I have honed my techniques and I have earned a reputation as a successful Bass angler.

The experience that comes with years of successful fishing on both Louisiana and Texas lakes has enabled me to get an accurate read on the water and to adapt my fishing style accordingly.

I am a full-time driver salesman for Blue Bell Ice Cream and a part-time Bass Fishing Guide. I am also a Drum Teacher.
I spend 180-200 days a year on the water.

My Top Bass:

  • 11.24 - Caddo Lake 2009 - Donated to Bass Pro Shops
  • 10.46
  • 9.96
  • 9.75
  • 9.53
  • 9.39
  • 16 Fish over 8lbs

My Fishing Style Is: Powerfish, fast and aggressive, cover lots of water. Speciallizing in pitching and shallow grass tactics.
My Favorite Bait Is The: 1\2 oz. Jig

When not guiding, I dedicate a lot of time to music. Playing the drums and teaching drum lessons.
I enjoy shooting and leanring about weapons.
I am happy to say that my greatest pleasure comes form spending time with friends and family.

My personal goal is to fish professionally on one of the top U.S. tournament trails and 2008 will be a busy year on the tournament circuit for me.

I love fishing and helping others enjoy the natural beauty of the area. While we are pulling in those monster bass we will also be fortunate enough to see some of the other interesting marine animals that share our local waters.

After a grueling week, month or year at work, a day on Caddo Lake or one of our other local fishing holes is indeed a breath of fresh air! From the angler to the visitor eager to experience a truly memorable vacation beyond the casinos, I'm ready to share in a little slice of what I consider fishing paradise!
