Fishing Report                                            

Caddo Lake         

February is always a great month for huge bass on Caddo Lake.

Most of the fish are still in staging areas on the main lake such as grass flats of near the edge of the main river. While some decent fish can be caught off the trees using a jig or Texas-rig., the trap or crankbait bite will be the most productive.

Target areas that are 2-4ft. deep and that have a mixtue of hydrilla and pad stems.

The water temp. has been ranging from 45-50 degrees so you may have to slow your retrieve down at times to get a reation from the fish.
